Default College graduate financing through Lexus

Was browsing Lexus and Infiniti's website and noticed that each has "special" financing options for recent college graduates. Has anyone used this and if so what is so "special" about it? Just wondering because I graduated 1 month ago and I really really really want a new ride.

I used the new grad financing program when I purchased my IS350. Pretty much they'll just take another $500 off if you finance through Lexus for at least 6 months. Nothing really special about it.

you know i hate to say it. but $500 off a lexus isn't significant price deduction unless it was a Toyota. I say $1000 would sound more reasonable.

You automatically qualify for "Tier 1" which is the lowest interest/lease rate.

I forget the official term but it has to be a "real" college (i.e. no ITT Technical Institute) and you must not already have bad credit.

You must also have a letter of promised employment.

Basially you're pre approved in 5 minutes.

chances are if you have good credit, (or through your parents), you might be able to find a lower rate
