Default Swerve and run?

Okay i dont know if its called a hit and run or swerve and run but i have nothing else to call it.

So im on this street where it had two lanes to turn left and im on the right one. Theres a black toyota in the next lane and we both sit there waiting for the light. Then we get the arrow and i start going and im going the the right lane and he was kinda close to me but i thought he was going to the middle lane but the jerk swerved into my lane and ran me off the road and i hit the curb, i honk and this #%!@ still tries to come into my lane. I completely stop and the moron takes off. I got his plates, but i dont know if i could do anything. Theres no damage on his car and im pretty sure they wouldnt admit up to it. How much do you guy think it would cost to fix it? Also do you think i could have alignment issues? I hit the curb at an angle going about 15mph(ithink). Also what could i do?

Its dark outside but basicaly the whole rim has curb rash.

Sorry to hear about that. You might want to report him to the police. I kind of doubt they can do much about it, but they might at least pay him a visit.

There are some intersections in my town where I know people tend to make wide turns like that--particularly right across solid lines. I try to anticipate the other drivers' actions as best I can, because you know they aren't paying any attention to the other cars on the road. Sometimes you just can't avoid other drivers' stupidity though.

ouch. I also doubt theres much you can do about it, since there was no real harm done or anyone hurt. I feel your curb rash pain though. take it to a wheel shop and get some est.

Won't do you much unless you take that police report to insurance. My deductable is $500, so thats a no no. Try looking on ebay for a single graphite wheel. OR. Get some dark silver paint and touch it up. I would do that or leave it as is for now. Get an alignment checked.

Sorry to hear of your story.
At the very least, report it to the police. Even if they don't do anything, you'll feel like you expired the possibilty.
