Glacier Frost front STOCK lip doestnt match car color!?
Hey all, just sorta scratched my stock front stock lip (spoiler/airdam) and i noticed it doesnt match the rest of the car color. I have only 1400 miles on the car... and never noticed it until now. My car color is Glacier Frost Mica, and I never noticed anyone on the board mention it. The stock lip looks like its maybe white at most... I may get the OEM gfx air damn as a result but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this, especially on GFM painted cars? Anyone think i have a case to have lexus replace it with an actual Matching lip?

even if you take a look at your factory front bumper, and compare with your hood and fender, it doesn't match 100%. because paint on plastic and metal will never match perfectly, even when it comes fresh out of lexus assembly plant.

Some people just don't have an eye like others.

usually plastic dries diffrently then the car body itself. very normal as you can tell on other cars the bumper tend to be a WHOLE diffrent color but used the same paint code.

The plastic parts are painted at different times from a different vendor, they never match exactly. That is just the way it is. Unless you have a very sympathetic dealer you won't get very far. After all, you didn't notice it for awhile. So the match must have been 'ok'. It is very common that the painted parts don't match exactly. Most people never notice.
