Question How can I SEEK within a CD track (audio or mp3)?

I use to listen to audio books (audio or MP3 CDs) and sometimes when I don't understand what the speaker says, I want to seek back 5 seconds in the track. Is there a way to do that on the Lexus stock audio system (no Nav package)?

i believe you just hold down the track select button instead of pressing it. for example to skip 5 seconds into a track hold the next track button or if you want to go back 5 seconds hold the previous track button. i may be wrong but this is my experience with the Lexus audio system and nav and seems like an intuitive method.

^^^Exactly.

But don't do it at the steering wheel. Holding the track button on the steering wheel changes the CD, not scans the CD.

Hold the track button on the console instead.
