Default Having trouble finding V-LED's

Do the V-LED's that look like these not come in 9005 bulb type anymore? All I can find is 9006...or am I suppose to use the 9006 instead? Help please!

No, I couldn't find what you wanted on eBay.

However, I typed "LED" and "9005" on eBay and found one by PIAA. Perhaps that can work?

While PIAA may have... overpriced/overrated

As for 9005's from Vleds, just wait untill they have a new shipment, then it'll pop back up on their website, you just need to keep checking

So no chance of 9006's working? If I remember correctly the only difference between a 9005 bulb and a 9006 bulb was the painted tips, as seen below. Everything else should be the same.

Although, it looks like a little modification would be in order.

Quoted from some BMW site:

"Why using a 9005 bulb: 9005 bulbs are 65W and are not capped at the end, 9006 bulbs are 55W and have a cap at the end. You have to slightly modify the 9005 bulb to fit the 9006 socket. Light increase is from the increase in lumens from the 9005 bulb. A 9005 bulb has 70% more lumens than the 9006 (1700 lumens vs 1000 lumens). HID has 3200 lumens."

Just a thought...if the 9005 is rated at 65w and the 9006 is rated at 55w, could I potentially blow or fry that 9006 bulb by giving it an extra 10w? Now I know the DRL's are the highs ran at low power but what would happen if I say flashed my brights, which would send the full 65w to the bulb?

well if you flash your DRL with LED bulbs... it wont make any difference since LEDs dont run at... more than 3w(?) so no worries.

9005 has a different socket and a wider stalk.

I wouldnt recommend doing the 9005 mod. I did it for my other car and it burned my harness. Just get HID's!
