Default GS to IS? Has anyone done it?

First off I know this might sound stupid but i just want to hear peoples opinions and experiences.

i just got a 08 GS350 AWD and am debating switching for a IS250 AWD. Don't get me wrong i love the GS it's classy, well built and pretty fast. The thing about it is i'm only 23 and find it a pretty big luxury sedan to have at this age. I find the look of the IS would suit me more. Anyways what i really want to know is will i miss the power of the GS? or will the fun factor of the IS make me forget about it?

I took the IS for a test drive but it was a short one and it's hard to tell on such a short test.

p.s. they should really make a IS350 AWD

my opinion would be to ditch the GS for a 350. Buying a 250 wouldnt give you much fun factor or performance. trust me you will be sorry if you dont get an IS350. my two cents......

I say keep the GS. You'll miss the hp if you move down to a IS 250. However, an IS 350 is possible to drive during the winter with the right winter set up.

Keep the gs350awd, in a few years you will fit right in. It's like trying to fill in some big shoes.

Keep the GS.

The IS250, albeit more economical, does not have the performance that you would crave. And you'll be hit hard with the immediate depreciation of your GS, making the step-down less frugal.

I say, keep the GS, and modify accordingly for better handling.

wanna trade for a 07 black on black 350 with nav rear sunshade headlamp washers and illuminating scuff plates? stock tires already have snow tires on them so you could get around in the snow up there in montreal and trust me...... awd ain't nothing... it's all about the tires

all my mods in my signature i'll then part out... i'll let you keep the halo's and custom eyelids

Mod the **** out of the GS and keep it! You can make it more "YOUR" style! Check out some of the other members rides lowered with some nice rims and body kit!

I like the look of the GS

Just add some rims, body kit and slam your ride and make it "young" The GS has a lot of potential.

You would be downgrading if you got the 250: speed, comfort, vip status potential

please, stick with your AWD GS...

You can make it look sick and sporty, just look in the GS section....
