My Ebay Spoiler Installed on my IS250!
Ok Guys, for all of your hesitant about purchasing a spoiler on ebay, I decided this might help some of you out. First off I had a really good experience with the seller. Answered my questions in a timely manner and what not.
Like everyone, I had 2 major questions:
1. Would the paint match exactly?
2. How would it fit?
Let's put it this way, It actually exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to hit a few bumps in the road, but it went very smoothly. Enough with the chit chat. Here are the results. (i tried to get the best pics possible)
Pics of the spoiler:

Pics of the Ebay spoiler installed:
I hope you guys have a pleasant experience like me!!!
My next mods are red outs, and lowering!

I got the 3m Version. a friend had soem experience with this tape before so i wasnt to worried. i'm sure it wont fly off. ebay seller id: thespoilercompany
3m tape version, I didn't like the fact that i had to drill holes into my car. i worked my butt off to pay for the car and also i might want to change it up in the future. ING or Carlsson!

I got mine from a Lexus dealership on EBAY for $198.
I paid $108 for a local Lexus dealership to install.
So far no problems at all.

im Glad someone finally did this. I have had these on previous cars and they fit like a glove and have never been a problem in anyway for me!
Too many people are sold on that "NAME' brand and have the authentic or real deal thing.....I was once there and have learned that its a waste of money many times. Yes there will be the few that are not but I guess you learn thru time where you can get away with this and where you can not.
My background is in Marketing & of course I am in the Financial world now for close to 5 years. Prior to this I did POS and POP marketing display's for many large companies and it amazed me being young at that time to see "ONE" product come out of the plan in "TEN" different bottles!!! Yes peeps that is TRUE! Brought a whole new perspective to things for me and to be honest I am glad!
Either way I am sure more will start to get these for their cars. If mine did not have it on already I would have done the same as the OP!
To the OP:
Looks Great! and nice install. I did install one that had the bolts on it. It is easier then you think! I had the same fear you did...just installed it in my home garage with a neighbor and we found out that on most cars you can see where the OEM holes are to be drilled. They dont just guess at the dealer. I am sure the Lexus has these same points of reference for the Techs to install. But I have also used the tape ones and had them on my lease cars for 3 years and never once did they give me trouble.

I'm thinking about purchasing this spoiler as well and same color. When you used the 3m tape, was the spoiler loose at all? Does it have any give? How durable do you think it will be in the long term?
