auto-dimming rear-view mirror help
I would like to install an aftermarket auto-dimming read-view mirror (interior) in my IS, as it didn't come with one (they are not standard in europe).
Has anyone installed an aftermarket rear-view mirror in their IS, or in another vehicle? I am wondering how you remove the existing one from the windshield and attach the new one...

In the UK they come as standard on the SEL. I find it annoying though and often switch it off. Can you borrow one and just stick it over the existing one for a few days to try it?

Well I did have it on my previous car, and loved it. I really miss it now, much more than I thought I would, that's why I'd like to fit an aftermarket one. I asked the dealership whether they could fit the original lexus one but they said they could not do it...
