I have already got the steering damper Swaybars Tein CS and spacers... but the steering is still lighter than a stock 2008... So I it must be something else...

Just installed it, but.... sorry guys, if this is really from an isx50 2008, than this isnt the key of the stiffer steering...
Let me explain my experience after a first testdrive:
- The steering is a little bit more direct/precise than before..
- The steering is a little bit lighter, less strenght needed, so there seems to be a little bit more power assist.
- The steeringfeel is a little bit more smoother, related to directness?
Conclusion for now: The feel is better, but a little bit lighter..
I will let you guys know more when I drive some more with it...

Lexus Test Driver
I went from an '06 to an '08 during the test drive and I noticed a slight difference just driving along normal roads, I didnt notice how tight it was until i was speeding on the freeway. Definately a great improvement if it can be done.

Guys
I Finally installed the Steering ECU of the 2011 Fsport in my 2006.. I can confirm that this is just plug and play without any errors on dash.
The steering ecu seems to be calibrating by itself, so it is getting heavier each time I drive ( this was also like when I put in the 2008 ECU)
I still need to let lexus calibrate the steering ecu, so untill then I can only say that the steering feedback is better en stiffer than it was..

Did you ever figure out if it was worth it to have lexus calibrate the steering ecu?
I have an 06 that I threw a 2008 steering ecu on and I would rather give it time to let it *learn*( than pay lexus to calibrate it.
Or is it worth it to calibrate it?
