Default The AC in my 250 $ucks

For some reason my ac does not blow out ice cold air. Its been like this ever since the first day I bought it. It might be 90+ degrees in Florida right now but it will take my ac up to 15 minutes before it starts to blow semi-cold air. Is this normal? I mean, I just installed tints and usually do cover up my front windshield with sun reflector, but it just seems my ac is either weak or not charged. It was even worse during the months I didn't have the tints. It is especially embarrasing when I get out of my car with a wet spot on my business shirt. I know this is not normal because my dad's 2001 LX blows out ice cold air after just 10 seconds, and even my previous 96 ES300 blows much colder air. The car is only 5 month old and I am very pissed!! Ok now i am going to b1tch to the dealership.

Oh yeah my rearview mirror will losen itself with vibration and loud music! WTF?? This is not Lexus quality!! Can't believe I have put up with this for that long

There is something definitely wrong with your ac. Mine blows TOO cold. And there is a tsib for the rearview mirror rattle. Search for it.

The 250 AC is a step down from my gen 1 IS300, but maybe we are all comparing the R-12 (pre 1994) to the 1994 and newer (LOL) R-134 A which was much colder. I would take it in to the delaer and have them run a check of the refrigerant to be sure. It could be a o-ring leakage.

My AC sucks too, I need to get it checked.. The air that blows out is not ice cold and when its kinda hot outside it takes forever before somewhat cold air kicks in.

Mine was fine last year in the 100+ heat. None of my windows are tinted either.

Something's wrong. I've been running my AC in 90+ degree weather here in Bakersfield lately, and it gets to the point where I get too cold.

Mine is extremely cold too. In previous summers I've entered the car after baking in 100+ temps all day, and even in those extreme conditions it cools down quickly.

Most of you complaining about it getting too cold live in mild climates. Try living in Vegas and having it "too cold" inside your car. During the summer it is a rare case to hear those words spoken in a car. He is in Florida so that is probably a brutal place as well depending on what city in Florida.

I'm waiting for this summer to see how the AC in my 'new' IS350 holds up here in Vegas. This 90 degree weather has not been a good test thus far. Seeing how fast it can cool down the car after its sat outside at the mall for 3 hours baking in 117 degree weather will be the real test.

Um...I live in a desert climate in California where it gets 110 degrees some days during the summer, and yes my air still gets too cold....I would rather have it that way though.
