The 2IS has one of the most efficient AC systems in the automotive industry.

If it doesn't get cold, bring it to the dealer!!!

haha...A/C???

We get to use that a few months out of the year. I cant say the IS is the greatest out of all my cars but it does a good job. But we dont have the weather you have in FL. I have been to FL a few times and every car I was in sucked with the A/C but because its so hot out....I will trade with you

er, it is one of the coldest a/c i've been in. toyota seems to always have very cold a/c. if u haven't tried a german car from the 90s, then u don't know what a lousy a/c is.

have had quite a few 90 days. and yes, it is still very cold. so cold my head hurts.

My Ac blows cold enough that everyone in the car gets goose bumps! You need to take your car to the dealership and get it checked, especially with summer coming in Florida - it's only going to get hotter!

I was just thinking (and mentally complaining) the other day how freaking cold my A/C was. I agree, you should definitely see your dealer.

I live in Vegas and I had my car last summer, it worked pretty well. Nothing compares to Audi A/C though. Hell my A4 and S4 blew so damn hard it made a racket coming out of the vents because of the velocity and it was down to 35 degrees.

Try setting the A/C to recirculate mode and leave it there for a few minutes. It will get rid of the humidity since your in florida. Cali and LV has dry heat and it doesnt seem as hot as high humidity heat.

I agree with the most people that are saying it is too cold at times. The most I've used it is on a 100+ degree weather and I get pretty cold within 3 notches at a setting of 70.

I remembered reading this thread yesterday and thought nothing of it at the time. However, I am in an '08 IS250 loaner today whilst my IS350 is in for its 10K maintenance.

I did notice that the AC seemed to not be cooling as effectively as my IS350. I had the 250s set to 'auto' and 70 degrees and it was not cooling anywhere close to my 350 set to 'auto' and 75 degrees. This is, of course, completely anecdotal, but I thought I'd chime in since it was very noticable.

I mean, I just installed tints and usually do cover up my front windshield with sun reflector, but it just seems my ac is either weak or not charged. It was even worse during the months I didn't have the tints. It is especially embarrasing when I get out of my car with a wet spot on my business shirt. I know this is not normal because my dad's 2001 LX blows out ice cold air after just 10 seconds, and even my previous 96 ES300 blows much colder air. The car is only 5 month old and I am very pissed!! Ok now i am going to b1tch to the dealership.

Oh yeah my rearview mirror will losen itself with vibration and loud music! WTF?? This is not Lexus quality!! Can't believe I have put up with this for that long
I work down in the Miami/South Beach area. It has been in the 90s here for the past few days. I dont have a cooling issue with my vehicle. You need to check and make sure the A/C is in the recirculate mode and the A/C button green light comes on. If it still does not cool then it is a dealer issue.

I am glad you pointed this out. It is possible that the 350 has a slightly bigger compressor. Maybe someone can verify this via part numbers.
