Default Do I Need Spacers?

I recently lowered my 06 IS350 with the Eibach Prokit. It's got the factory luxury/sport package. I'm putting Petrol Octane 19x8's with offset of +40 on the front with 235/35/19 Kumho Ecsta Spt's and 19x9.5 with offset of +35 on 265/30/19 Kumhos on the rear. I placed the rims on without tires and the rear looks awfully close to the fender lining. I just wondered if I will need to purchase spacers, and if so - what thickness. I believe I'm running the same setup as Smooth1 is on his 350 - thats the look that I'm going for and he says his doesn't rub. Any input is greatly appreciated fellas!

IMO you wont need a spacer in the rear. You could put a 5mm spacer on the front and shouldn't require any fender mods. It will be more flush like the rear if you want that look. H&R makes a nice spacer setup for the 2IS!

Many on here have that same size and offset on the rear and they have no problems with rubbing w/out spacers.

adding a spacer will only make it rub more.

I would be more concerned with the front wheels clearing the caliper..
