well considering i ordered my IS back in the beginning of april, i wont get it until end of july(or sometime around then). so over the past few weeks, i have been saving my money for future mods for my car. i currently have around $1100. but recently, i came upon an offer i cant seem to resist. a 2005 suzuki gsrr 750 for $5300. i will have the rest of the $4200 by the beginning of next month because college classes end this week and i will already have a fulltime job by then.

so what would you do?

keep saving money for mods, or buy the bike. (i do have experience with bikes by the way)

easy, dont really need to mod the 2IS, get the bike for 'fun times' and keep the 2IS stock for a daily *just put tint/springs and your good to go for the car*

oh i forgot to say im 19. i have ridden many dirtbikes in the past, since i was 14. and i got to drive a yamaha r6 for an entire week(my friend was on vacation and let me take care of it=])

With the price of gas going up everyday, it might not be a bad idea to get the bike. Then you can ride on nice days, and take the IS for work, dates, etc.

I say get the bike...but go with the 1000rr..I had one and they are a great bike. Many get a 500cc or 750cc and then trade out of it 1 year later for the 1000cc. I say do it right and here you go!

i have a feeling a 1000 is a bit much for me. plus, i will be my first bike and you cant beat the price and the seller is willing to negotiate =]

be careful if its a used bike. Unless you know the person get it looked at You can get used bikes for a steal but many people beat the **** out of them or have dumped them. I think my bike was around 12k and when i sold it it was worth 5-6k I had barely used it...lucky person that walked with it. I should have never sold it. Good luck! They are a lot of fun as you can see. Just be careful on the road

why listen to people who say get the bike? do they have an IS or an Bike? my point exactly get the IS! they dont have the bike tell them to get it first lol

okey... my gf has a bike... lol... so its a bit embarrassing to drive a car, but honestly it is very inconvinient for T.O. maybe if i lived in cali, i would have never even thought about buyin a car, i would have got a bike and a trunk but i dont so, i have to buy something which is useable , bike for me would have costed me $18K for the first year, with that money u can build a super IS!!!
