Muting music when nav speaks?
For me, it is a real pity that you can't configure the stereo to mute when the navigation tells you something, so that you could actually hear what it is saying...
In this tread, I see a guy who has a tel mute wire going into the head unit:

Would it be possible to take signal from somewhere when the navigation gives instructions and feed it into this mute wire so that music mutes?

I actually like it better. You are listening to your music too loud if you can't hear the Nav. It's annoying to have a song cut off suddenly, and then take 1/2 second to resume just so the nav can tell you something that you semi-know already. Because our Navs don't work in motion, I tend to program in my destination starting from my house. Therefore, I don't really need to pay attention to it until later in the journey. During those earlier times, I prefer to have the music not be interrupted.
I think the Acura Nav does what you want, and I think it's annoying, though I guess it wouldn't have hurt to have it as an LPS setting.

Yeah, It is in an option in the menu's to have the music pause when the navigation speaks. I can't remember which option it is but I'm sure someone will jump in and let you know.
