This is where I mounted my switch. I wanted easy access and was not concerned about stealth mounting.

if you don't have ML can you purchase a DVD capable player portion of it and will it still be able to play movies or is there more to it?

I believe it's about $350 plus $15 shipping and tax if applicable. It's not cheap for a switch. But the install was fairly simple and is reversible if needed. Nice option for someone who does not want to cut wires on their brand new Lexus.

Took the switch apart and re-routed the wire out of the back. Then ran the wire through the blank next to the coin holder. I tried the switch in a couple of other locations but had a problem reaching them. I find myself using this switch a lot and this location works the best for me.

oh, very nice. How much does it cost for a installation like that? I seen many people do it at the center console but my EDFC will be there. I am thinking about putting it near the pedals where joez put his at.

If you want you can also move it to the center console with your IPOD.

It's hard to see the controls for the edfc where the ash tray it. I seen people put it above the gas lid, and trunk button.
