Congrats on the new car. I agree with the others, the IS350 is a much more potent car, and with the right mods can be pretty sporty as well. Luckily for you the 250 has everything the 350 has but that speed. I really don't know what ppl are talking about complaining about the seats. Yes they aren't recaros but I think that they are the most comfortable car seats I've ever sat in, and everyone else who sits in them agrees. As someone who has been into the turbo AWD scene since I got my license, the comfort in the IS is something that makes saying good bye to a stick shift and a turbo much easier.

Also, I recently sold my Subaru Legacy GT after 3 months of ownership and bought an IS350. I can tell you that the ownership experience is much more fulfilling with the Lexus. On paper the Legacy and IS have many similar features however, the execution is so much better in the Lexus.

In the Subaru, everytime I discovered a new perk it was accompanied by disappointment in the not so great implementation. In the Lexus, its like they read your mind when they designed it.

Finally, I don't know how old you are, but it actually is possible you just avoided making a huge mistake. The Lancer Evolution is THE most expensive car to insure. Suprisingly, the IS350 was a lot cheaper to insure than the Legacy, which was supposed to be one of the cheapest cars out there.

Eh? Biggest mistake of your life? The EVO X Is a beast of a machine, a purpose built car, with incredible potential. All four brakes are controlled independently, that is ridiculous. I have considered ditching the IS for it.

The only reason that it would be a big mistake is that you could get arrested for Street Racing.

wow 4 pages already! Thanks for welcoming me to the site, I've been out driving all day breaking in the car, messing with the nav. Took it up to the mountains and the cars way more fun than I expected! Oh and the reason I didn't get a 350 is because I have a problem when I get in fast cars.... I get tickets lol. My records just got clean this month no points

I'll have pics tomorrow morning, man I love this car

yea i know the evo is a beast but after thinking about it I couldn't be responsible in that car.
