Hey man welcome to the club, congrats on the new 250 and sexy color choice, but i gotta agree with above and wonder why a serious EVO customer would opt to not have the 350?

Biggest mistake of your life? That's being a bit dramatic.
I bought my 350 because I got impatient waiting for the EVO X and the New STI to hit the dealerships. Kind of regret it now.
I like my 350, nice interior, nice stereo, decently fast. The seats blow, there is no aftermarket and I'm not really into the whole "look at me, I drive a LEXUS" stigma that goes with this car, to quote another member "baby baller" that is pretty much the segment the IS attracts.
Cheap looking interior in the EVO? Expensive for what it is?
Its a homologated rally car, and Mitsu has done a ton for the interior and comfort to attract more buyers. The Recaros are WAY better than the seats in the IS as far as comfort and support. And there is huge amounts of aftermarket support for the car, even with the new engine.
So I guess it comes down to "look at me, I'm a boy racer" with a very fast car. Or, "look at me, I drive a LEXUS, I'm a baller(what ever that means?)"

I couldn't have said it any better myself.. The Evo is an awesome car... Most people that buy the Evo are buying it for its speed and handling not the way the interior looks... I wish i got the EVO instead of my IS.. But thankfully I still have my 1997 GSX Eclipse for when I want to go fast

I agree, I wish the is 250/350 had better supporting seats, especially on top. I miss the RSX seats I had on my integra....now those were a perfect blend of comfort and performance. Anyone try installing the ISF seats in their car or are they more supportive than the 1s 250/350's?

if your dad works for lexus, you should've had him swing a deal for an is350 for you.
BTW IMO i wouldn't call choosing the evo X over the 2is the biggest mistake of your young life. i can think of a few things that will very likely be more important than your next car...
