all of these numbers mean nothing...the are not decibel ratings. 60 on a lexus audio system may be no louder than 40 on an audi or 37.5 on a yamaha amp. so in reality this thread is useless. when i 1st saw the thread title i thought someone would have info on the decibel output of the stock audio system but instead everyone here is just listing ambiguous numbers that have no scientific significance what-so-ever.

Your comments bring to mind that wonderful scene in the movie "This is Spinal Tap" where Nigel proclaims Marshall amps to be louder than the rest, because while the other amps go up to ten, these go to eleven.
I'm guessing that the original poster was just curious of how high the numbers go so that they'll know what percentage of scale they're listening at, e.g., if they're listening at 32, they've got the **** set to the middle of the range.
