First, I think that the IS should have another wood option, such as a dark brown (Walnut) trim as seen on the SC, or blackwood (Dark Bird's Eye Maple) as seen on the LS.

Second, I believe that the regular IS should have the dual tone accents as found on the IS-F. I don't think that this will happen to maintain IS-F option exclusivity, but it would be nice.

I hope that some Limited Edition 2IS arrive for 2009 (along with a minor 3-year refresh, as well as the coupe/convertible ).



I also hope Lexus does the same thing they did with the GS Passionate Black Interior Edition. That subtle red trim around an all black interior would be hot.




Or perhaps something like the 2008 SC430 Pebble Beach Edition?





I wonder if I can just custom paint some of the trim inside?

I dunno. The mod bug hit me...

I like red or blue looks really subtle. I would love a darker color wood, but i have a cashmere interior, dont think it will match very well.

I drove a LS 460H with the Dark Bird's Eye Maple and was touched by the look. I agree, I think the IS should have that as an option. Very classy look. Maybe JDM has this kit (LOL)!!!

I think a blue trim on black interior suits the BWB exterior better than a BWB with red/black trim IMO.

I thought of that.

But then I thought that the car will be too "smurfy" blue, or it would look like a wannabe IS-F.

I have a black interior with the red-ish Bird's Eye Maple. To have the subtle red accents of the "Passionate Red" GS350 would be different...



Can someone photoshop the door handles, paddle shifters, and side console trim to dark red?
