You also have side mounted airbags, if you exchange the seats the airbags will be deploying in the middle instead of on the side.
That's why they tell you don't put a seatcover over your seats.
If you want to sit in the other seat to even the wear out maybe you can convert your car to be right hand drive.

Yes, in all seriousness, I had great success with minimizing the fade with the Lexus leather cleaner and conditioner. It is two separate bottles available in the parts department at the dealer. Should be under $20 for both. While you’re at it, pick up the dash/vinyl protectant, I love this stuff because it is non-greasy and smells like cherries.

LOL..I'm just so **** about the tidyness of my car
but my passenger isn't.. recently one of my passengers made a tear in my leather seat. I was so pissed off!! I posted this in the detailing section if you want to look at the tear.
