I traded in my leased S4 and was looking at the RS4...With my industry slowing down and gas prices I started to look at the BMW 335 but they wouldnt work with you so that ended that search. I was 12k miles over my lease agreement already and had positive equity in the car. So I traded the car in for my IS350. Funny I wanted the IS250 AWD for my wife and she couldnt make up her mind. I was going to get the GS and the IS for her. Funny I ended up driving the car and it was perfect for the money and saved me $$$$ in gas. I was blowing thru 600/month in gas in my Audi S4. I also did my fair share of driving, but I drove it pretty hard

For me was a new TSX or a used 2006 e46 BMW 330i ZHP.

I regret not going with the 330i ZHP. Oh well.

A couple of things really. Not enough power for me on the new models compared to the others that I am considering and Just ready for a change I guess.

And that's kinda why i'm unsure about the BMW. I hear lots of horror stories about it. But of course every car has it's flaws, it just seems like I hear more stories about BMW though.

I can understand wanting a change. I looked closely at Audi but figured it wouldn't be any less likely to lemon out than BMW.

This is totally anecdotal, but hanging out on forums, people are much more likely to complain than praise their cars. However, hanging out around BMW/Audi/MB forums you hear all sorts of horror stories (engine seizing, tranny dropping, electrical failure, etc...) whereas here you hear about rattles, nannies, and annoying option packaging. In the grand scheme, I'll take the rattles (even though they annoy the hell out of me).

I also have my friends yelling at me to get a 4 doors cuz their sick of climbing in my back seat (only 2 doors right now )
It's time to trade in that Geo Metro (1.0 inline 3), and go for the 350 so you can more effectively play chauffeur for everyone!!!!

I looked at the G35 also, put was never impressed by the quality, fit and finish of Infinity Products.(and they are ugly) As for BMW, well what can you say...it cream of the crop, BUT your going to pay for it too !!!! Don't like the way they "a-la-carte" all their options either...

Lexus just has more "bang for the buck", and is certainly the most reliable of the bunch. (and it the best looking IMO)

Go with Lexus, you won't regret it !!!
