I'm confused..does our IS have semi aniline leather options in the first place? I thought it's either cloth (basic stock which is rare) or the perforated leather that is normally equipped in our IS?
edit: which 1 is more top of the line: semi aniline or perforated?

semi analine is more on top. that is why i doubted the IS having it, because not even all LS's have semi analine leather.
perforated leather is just regular leather with holes

Maybe Bichon can clarify this? Perforated or not, I was under the impression all the 06-07 was Semi Annaline. Perforation only comes with the heated/ventilated option.

does it say so under the options portion of your window sticker?or is it a standard feature.
if it was an option, then i guess im partly wrong. they no longer have it on the lexus website, but im sure a majority of your 2007s have the basic leather, unless you bought the top of the line IS

Apparently semi-analine leather was standard in the '07 AWD. Next time I go to the dealer I'll check the '08's to see if I can tell the difference in the quality of the leather.

I believe ALL 06 and 07 IS's have the Semi-Analine super nice super soft leather as standard. The ES's didn't they're crappy rough leather. You had to pay for the high quality stuff in the ES but not in the IS. Now if the 08's got rid of that and downgraded the leather then that sucks and I'm glad I don't have one cuz I LUVVVV my super soft seats! Not even my boss's 80k Mercedes has nicer leather than my IS.

I never was under the impression that any IS had semi aniline leather. Semi Aniline leather is the best and softest leather that any car could ever have and only the ES with ultra luxury package and the LS LWB with the luxury package comes with semi aniline leather. I'm sorry but the IS has never had this type of leather. Not even the GS, SC, nor GX came with it either.

okay, if it was available, i think we can come to an agreement that it wasnt standard, obviously, since its not standard on the 71K LS.
