I do agree in the fact that .. Although the leather in the IS is comfortable .. Its to sensitive in alot of aspects .. Ironically a little portion of my leather in the right passenger area has minor sun damage and it hasn't been a year even , and which im taking to the dealer tomorrow to repair coincidentally enough .

uhh...semi analine leather was never available on the IS.
semi analine leather is an option based item, you even need to pay more for it on the LS and the ES, the only two sedans with this available option
so the leather you have in your 2007 IS is the same as the 2008 IS which is the premium standard lexus leather

I am going to have to dissagree with you, my vehicle has the Semi Annaline leather and it says so in the 2007 brochure as well as my invoice.
if it was an option, then i guess im partly wrong. they no longer have it on the lexus website, but im sure a majority of your 2007s have the basic leather, unless you bought the top of the line IS
