IS-F Track Event and Other Vehicles in Joliet, IL
CL Members,
I thought I would post this here and not in the IS-F because I had my 250 present but did not track it and a great buddy of mine with his Supra showed up. I even posted some pics below of the Nieman Marcus Edition (No. 35 of 50) below. IMO and the test drivers, the $10k diff in price does not justify the purchase. Bascically, it comes with polished spoke wheels, driving school, different embroidery inside, and a special badging. Feel free to comment and for those who could not attend (thanks Mike--Passnu2 for ditching..LOL), this will act to replace the absence. I also have some mpegs I will post the links for shortly.

It was fun but it was damn cold and windy. The IS-F was really nice and I definatelly would consider it if I decided to sell my M3. Anyways, hope to have better weather for next weekend.

Yes, it was very cold with an artic blast that was anticipated for this weekend event. At least there was no real snow, just flurries at times. This did not help the very soft tires for hooking. The STI's and Evo's seemed to run some great track times. As for the IS-F, it ran 52 to 54 seconds for the entire course which was alright considering some Vettes had run 42's. The IS-F only had 42 miles on it, so it was not even broken in. It does slam you back in the seat and it a fun toy. The paddle shifters are effortless and really add to the thrill. This is funny because I was never a huge fan of the paddles.
