scraping sound comming from front left wheel
Hi guys,
I used the search function to no avail. My front driver side wheel is making a squeeking noise either when I am driving straight or taking right turns. It never makes the noise when I am making a left turn. It almost sounds like brake pad is ever so slightly scraping the rotor like a high pitched scraping sound. anyone have any experience similar to this?

It could be your brake pads. They have an audible wear indicator that pops out and makes a scraping noise when they are worn out. How many miles do you have on them?

its deffinately not the brake pads... because it happens when when I am on or off the brakes... I am 100% stock. Also I had the Brake Pad TSB done about 7k miles ago, so the break pads are find. Most people who drive the car would never hear it... you can only hear it when the window is down the radio is completely off... but I notice it... and it bothers me...

The audible pad wear indicators are spring loaded and actually pop out from the pads against the rotor and make a constant scraping noise, not just when applying the brakes. But with only 7k on the TSIB pads you're right, they should be fine.
