Well I am glad the Carl Lewis sprint prevailed. I caught some kids vandalizing a car 10 years ago and grabbed them and also waited for the police. You play you pay. I don't think they will be messing with others property for a while after the A** Kick their parents probably administered.

Secondly, If that was me and my fat a**....I would have chased them in the car...rather than run lmao...but good job none the less...
I would have slapped the **** out of that kid lmao.

Damn, you should be a running back or wide reciver with that closing speed. Oh wait, 12 or 13 years old, still not too shabby. I would have been gasping for air half way there.

The police probably let them go after driving a few blocks, I don't think NY police give a damn about your car. And if you were smart you woulda catch them before you yell out "GET OVER HERE," do you honestly think they will stand there and wait for you? lol

The police probably gave them what is called a "Station Adjustment" and then notified their parents. The OP did the right thing. He caught them didn't he?

i have to tell ya a story i heard online, im pretty sure it was true...
long story short, this guy who owned a civic came out of the theater and saw a guy who had just parked his mustang next to his civic. the civi owner on the way out of the theater was walking back to his car when he saw the mustang owner punk messing with his civic. he had taken the emblem off and threw it across the parking lot.
realizing he was seen, but not knowing the owner was the very same person walking toward the 2 parked cars proceeds to tell the civic owner "ha ha thoes stupid rice kids and their stupid civics!"
the civic owner kept his cool and laughed along with him.
upon returning to the damaged civic went into the trunk and pulled out a baseball bat and the mustang owner saw that this was in fact the owner of the civis and started running back to the mustang knowing what was about to happen but before he could do anything the civic owner made a downward swing and whacked the driver side mirror clean off the mustang.
when the mustang owner got back to his car he proceeded to get his *** beat with that same bat!
and the civic owner drove off!
sorry i didnt give every detail but it was nice to actually see someone see some justice for a change when you mess with other peoples cars.

I did a similar thing when some kids were shooting bottle rockets and they started a small fire in front of my house. I ran out with a fire extinguisher, put out the fire and then I chased the kids swinging the extinguisher. Good thing I don't have your speed
