Nice job... But I would be worried now that they know where your car is parked and who knows what they will do next time they see it.... Since now you got him arrested and in trouble with the law he might seek out revenge (think that's how you spell it).... Hopefully the kid learned his lesson and won't do it again...

so i guess everything turned out ok but i have to ask....how old are you? why do i ask because i'm old enough to know at my age no way will i put my hands on any minors no matter what, even if they set my car on fire. last thing i need is some kind of crazy charges for adult "grabbing" or "detaining" a minor....you're one brave person. i know what you said, the police sided with you, everything went well....and that's good. you even said the witness "positively" identified them.
but you may not know this but everything would have gone just as well and turned out just fine had those kids disappeared and you never seen them ever again. that's the route i would have taken. there's absolutely no difference to you....unless of course, you feel good about detaining the fugitives and hauling them in to do time and have them face the criminal justice system for their heinous actions. but i jest....lol.

I'm no athlete but if it happened to me I think I would have had the anger + adrenaline in me to run after and keep up with them rascals too... then maybe collapse after I catch them

Great!! So.. looking back now do you think it was alittle nutz to chase them? I had a couple of kids egg my car a few weeks back. I just happen to be takeing the trash to the curb and caught the drive by egging! I jumped in the lexus ( egg and all) and chased them all the way to their house. Their parents came outside and I had already called the police during the chase. So right after I pulled up at their house the cops were on our heels. A couple of 18yr old kids just out having "fun". The cops put them in cuffs and took them to jail. But by the time I got downtown I didn't have the heart to press charges. I felt stupid for taking it as far as I did. The cops made the kids come outside at the police station and was my car on the spot. Justice I guess.?

Yeah now that I think back I over reacted a little but I was so pissed and just acted. My car is Black just picked it up from the spring install and wheels are coming this week, I am not going to let some punk ruin my high. I pay alot of money for that car, not for some little crackhead to use as a chalkboard.
