Unhappy The IS Curse Strikes

Haven't a clue how to post pictures, every time I try has been a dismal failure. Wife managed to remodel the front end on our IS. Not really her fault, she went “under” a pick-me-up truck. His damage, paint scrape on bottom of bumper and trailer wiring receptacle is bent. On our IS, the hood is toast, bent and buckled, both headlights are damaged internally, front bumper cover badly cracked, and grill is “folded” into an L shape. Looks to be in the $5k+ range to fix. At least she wasn’t hurt.

Sorry to hear it - glad she's OK. I had a similar incident in the snow with my Corolla a little while back - damage sounds very similar as well. Total cost to fix: $4,700. I would imagine this might cost quite a little bit more...

Glad to hear that she's safe.

Make sure the engine was not affected. You don't want that to fall off the car...

Glad your wife is unhurt, that is the most importatnt thing. Did the airbags delpoy? Sadky, this will substantially add to the repair costs.

Glad to hear no one was hurt, but if she drove into the back end of another vehicle it was most likely her fault, unless there were extenuating circumstances. Good luck in getting everything fixed.
