so last night (Saturday) i was working and i couldn't help myself not to listen to this guy talkin about his car with this girl... and he had a Lexus IS... so i kinda got involved in the conversation, and i asked him which one does he drive and he told me "i drive a 2006 IS350 sport PKG, 6MT" and after that i told him that i dont think they ever build one and he told me that im wrong... and yadi yadi yadi... and he told me "u dont own a lexus, do u?" and i was like " as a fact i have an is250 RWD, but its auto and im pretty sure that there is no such a thing as a IS350 6MT"... anyhow... he told me that if i think he is lying... i should go and see his car when he was leaving but i couldnt leave my bar... so i didnt get a chance to see it... however, i will see this guy again...so i just wana know if there is such a thing as IS350 6MT ????

No, there is no such thing. He probably has a 250 (if he even has a Lexus at all) and was trying to make himself look like he's got a better car then he really does have.

thanx people.. man i hate people who lies... especially about things which dont even exist... at least if u have a RWD auto 250.. maybe u can rebadge it as 350 and not that many people would figure it out but re-badging a 6MT is just wrong!!!!

if a IS350 did have 6MT that felt like the one in the IS250 I still wouldnt get it, not after experiencing what a prelude or S2000s gearbox feels like. Much to be desired

closest thing this guy has 2 a 350 6mt is when he pops that shifter over towards him and uses the paddles...LOL

there is one MT 350.... the Falken drift is350 is a manual, i believe a 4 speed nascar transmission or something, not the getrag 6.
but it also has a 2JZ swap...

either way its not a 6MT, and unless he has the falken is350 or he did a custom tranny swap then he is lying or dumb.

maybe he was shifting MANUALLY with his paddle shifter?
