I was in a parking lot with a full load of people and I hit a water gulley dip, very slowly but I managed to scrape the hell out of the bottom side of my GFX front spoiler. You can't tell unless you get on your hands and knees an look underneath, but I am still mad. Now it seems as though my whole bumper is loose to because if I lift up from underneath the spoiler my whole bumper will move. I don' t think it is supposed to do this, IS IT?

Same thing happened to me with when I pulled into a friends driveway... About the bumper being loose did you check to see if you broke and clips or tabs

No I didn't. I would not even know how or have the patients to check all the bumper mounting fasteners. Can anyone lift up from the bottom of the bumper and see if it moves closer to the headlights and if it makes the bodyline closer between the bumper and the fender.

LOL the underside of my gfx is SCRAPPED TO HELL and then some no worries it happens AND... soon i'll be replacing my eibach for something even mo bettah

check the clips/bolts but if the lip is totally damaged, why not look for aftermarket lips?

surprised you haven't had this happen sooner being dropped. If its the bottom of it i wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure the bumper is secure enough. I bottom out almost every day backing down my driveway. i need to put a 2x4 by the curb to give it a little step to get down.

I am very **** and things like this annoy the he'll out of me. It is only the bottom but I know its there. Yeah knda funny I haven't done it sooner I do have 16000 miles on my car. I normally go over dips an driveways at an angle thought so I never scrape the airdam. This was weird because the dip do not look that deep so I just hit it straight on like a dumbass.

That's the mean reason why I'm not going to install a body kit. Up here in Toronto, the lip would make a really good snow plow. Especially useful for this past winter with the record snowfall.

Awww come on man.. I scrape the lip the hell out of it.. The GFX lip is more flexible and not worry about crack by hitting the rock or tire debris.. Dont worry about it... If ya have the ING lip, or other name brand lip.. They made out of fiberglass and they are gonna crack into pieces by hitting something..

Yup Yup. It would happen sooner or later just like my last car. Especially if you use it as a daily driver.

Other then that........can't really see or tell its scrapped under. Probably because its white and most likely the scratch will just come up white.
