I think should post some pics while the work is in progress. A lot can be done in the appearance departemnt in terms of exhaust tips. I'm just glad it is not the traditional "Coffee Can (LOL)."

I don't know... but to each their own... all things considered i have never been a fan of the trend of black rims and trim on a light colored car.. actually even on a dark car... but i can see where it is cool with the contrast... but i have never been a fan personally.

Those tips are very unique in black, I say go for it! You will be the first to have those on a IS. Post up some pics when they're on.

i don't have black rims actually.

i will have more pictures. let me wash my car first so i can show my black grille, roof, and my black side reflector--because everyone seems to like it

OH dont worry about the welding on those tips, as i said before those are replicas. i will be getting the 750 dollar techart tips. (of course at a better price)

Save yourself some money and look into the Sebring turbo style tips- way cheaper than even the Schnell replicas and much better quality.

dude your nuts, your wasting your money on tips. you want to drop 750, go get a front lip and do something with the 200 you have left.

Hi, I solute you for going for your own thing but I think those tips belong to the 911 turbo.
  • Looks like the tips will require you to cut through your OEM bumper just to fit these exhaust tips… I wouldn’t do that.
  • How about painting the mufflers flat black (Like in the German and Italian cars) rather than painting the tips glossy black?
Just thinking out load good luck with whatever you end up doing.
