Interior question

Yeah, the dealer is flat out lying to you.
The only cars with wood interior are cars with either the luxury package or the premium package. While many cars built have one of those, many others do not.
Base models, X package models, and sport package models, all come with metal trim.

Does it -also- have the premium package? The premium pkg adds the heated/cooled seats and the woodgrain.
Perhaps to clarify... the -default- interior is metal. If you add a package to the car, and that package doesn't -add- wood, you don't get wood.
The only packages that add wood are premium and luxury.
So base, sports, or x (without also adding premium) will have metal.
Further disclaimer- The 250AWD is an odd bird that is optioned differently from all the others... even the Lux package doesn't add wood, only the premium does...

It's not a lie if you believe it--I just think the salesman is lazy or stupid. I think he truly believes you can't get it.

Love the wood trim. Looks rich and lusterious. Cheaper cars come with silver or metal trim.

I wanted the metallic trims if the whole interior was black or sterling but the '07-'08 comes in cashmere. Unless I get it special order but I'm okay with the wood trims ... then I can go with the white/red theme. lolz
For paying $34-45K you should be able to have the vehicle as your liking ... check with other dealerships. I have only two dealerships to haggle with but they work really well me so I was satisfied.
