NAV Messed Up? Calibration Totally Screwed My Location Up?
So...my wife was told by the dealer to hit the calibration button in the NAV menu since we got new tires, and they said we should do this every once and a while. Well she hit the button, and since than the darn thing is COMPLETELY messed up! It shows me NO WHERE near where I am located, just moves me all over the place. I even tried doing it manually, and moved the cursor to where I actually am and it stayed 'locked on' for a couple days and now its back to acting all crazy...
I tried re-calibrating it again and it still is no where near where I am. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to reset the system (pull the negative terminal off?) etc?
Thanks!

You're not doing anything wrong, there is a TSB for this issue and the dealer needs to replace the nav dvd. This should be covered under warranty. My 06 IS had the same problem that was progressively getting worse and worse. Took it in, got it fixed with the updated disk and has been fine ever since.

Holy smokes! I can stop yelling at my wife now..I feel bad...o well she'll get over it!
Thanks guys..I knew something had to be messed up, I will give the dealer a call tomorrow and get it in, my third TSB on my 06.
Not bad! :-)

What was the fuel line TSB? Haven't heard that one..here are mine, actually 4th one now that I think about it...
1. Dash Rattle (pulled dash out replaced all clips (revised design) and re-sealed the firewall or something).
2. Sunroof rattle (replaced the black spring loaded wind deflector thing)
3. AUX Audio plug had tons of noise on the line (replaced with grounded plug)
4. and now the NAV DVD.

The fuel line only affected very early model 06's. I got mine in September of 05 so I was one of the unlucky ones. I've also done the sunroof rattle, but I got that fixed before there ever was a TSB issued on it.
Come to think of it, the fuel line was not a TSB, that was an actual recall, as was the seatbelt issue. If you were affected, you would have received a letter from Lexus.
