Who cares which one has more torque? It's academic. No one won a race with better peak torque. Better gearing to take advantage of where the engine makes torque and put it to the wheel is what wins. Power to weight ratio wins. Peak torque numbers mean zip, zilch, nada, nothing, and never will when comparing two cars with different drivetrains.

And if the girl can drive at all, you'll get spanked. Hard. Probably 4 or 5 car lengths in a quarter mile.

Should have gotten the IS-350 if you wanted to race...

Then you could have given her a real spanking...If she was hot...otherwise forget it...

so does it mean I'm gonna loose to her or I'm gonna win.. By the way... I'm totally new to the whole lexus thing... So the dealer told me to wait for one gas tank to finish and then I can do whatever I want with the car... So me vs rx8 is gonna be the first revving on my car... Its gonna be about 500km on the car by sat... Is that enough time for engine to break-in... Sorry for sounding like nooooob but I have no clue about the lexus!!!

You're likely to lose. No guarantees, anything can and does happen, but if she can drive and doesn't make a very serious mistake, you'll lose.

Plan on getting loser's sympathy, not winners spoils.

Hahaha... You shouldn't be racing full stop! And when the dealer says "you can do anything you want" I am sure it was not the dealers intention for you to go racing!
