Default IS Silver Trim Kit on Sewell

Sorry if its a repost, but when I was shopping on Sewell, I saw:

http://www.lexus-parts.com/parts_det...id=90107&nbc=Y

for $489 + shipping.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it ?

I'd rather get my panels custom painted.

Pocky, one of our most adamant 2IS members, got his custom painted:

So they have the wood up? I have silver trim, and would like to go to wood.

I already have the center console, ashtray and cupholder. I wonder how much for just the window switches.

I definitively agree with you....I mean the Silver interior in amazing but 500!!! I do not think so.....not a big fan of the color he chose, but always UP for custom painting.

And whats the typical cost for custom paint? Must be cheaper than the Silver Trim ($489) I guess?

Custom paint sounds expensive too.

That is quite creative, but I would never paint over the wood trim IMO. The silver, probably.

I got mine custom painted also. I also got the silver trim pieces by the radio and on the handles black along with getting the wood pieces color matched to my car. The paint color is darker in person but my camera sucks the big one:

I believe it was "Wetworks". They used to do some amazing work on the show cars back in the days. Not sure what they are doing now.

trinityhk, got any pics of the painted silver trim pieces you did? I thought about painting those, but I figure it was "too much".

Here is another crappy photo of my painted trims.
