Not to discourage you, but does the LX Mode lip come painted for that price?? If not, you have to allow for that too.

Not that you asked for it, but IMO I would recommend just keeping the GFX lip (I saw it in the for sale section). The $$ to looks ratio is quite appealing, it is factory painted, and is *relatively* cheap to replace if / when it gets scraped up on a curb or something.

I don't know what it's like in your part of the country, but in my part of VA it's unlikely to even see a 2IS, let alone one somewhat modified. So, the GFX lip is perfect as it adds a more aggressive look, and most people aren't aware that it's a Lexus part, as they've never seen it before anyway.

Although, if you live in a part of the country that has a ton of IS's, with lots with the GFX lip, I can understand your reason to want something unique and different

To me, the ends look similar to the GFX lip. The only difference with the LX-mode is it has a little bit of a "bookshelf" to it in the center.

Honestly, with the way that the LX-mode lip juts out from the body, I think it's going to get damaged somewhat easily on a sloped driveway, because your overhang is going to extend further. This means that your bumper may hit things before your front wheel goes up the slope, resulting in scraping.

And, this is going to be even worse if you have/plan on lowering the car.

IMO, it's a lot of money for a piece that's very more than likely going to get scraped at one point or another. Although, you have one advantage: a black car, which means easier to touch up.

I'm not trying to discourage you....just trying to bring real-life experience into things. The 1-2 inch extension could make a big difference.
