Default 2007 keyless FOB battery brand

Which brand is better to get? Or does it really matter? They're all rated at 3 Volts right? There's only two brands I see:

Energizer and Renata.

Ha, the bunny. Are they still using that slogan with the bunny? Haven't watched TV in awhile. I've got one on order just now. I can't believe the price difference from the dealer as compared to eBay. Sheeshhh, who would even consider getting it there now? Unless you have no Net access at all or you are too rich to care.

Yes, the CR1632 is relatively cheap at Wal-Mart, Target, Radio Shack, etc.

Your dealer makes you pay for your batteries? A while back I accidently left my fob in my pocket, and it ended up in the washer. I told my service advisor what happened, and he replaced my fob free of charge (he wasn't aware that I was given an extra fob at the time of car purchase). He also said when my battery dies that he'll replace that for free too.

the fob should be water-proof....

I remebered someone washed it and it still works.....

I purchased a strip of 5 from Batterybob.com They are nice fresh Maxcel. Best price and free mailing. Very quick too.

My battery lasted about 12 months.

How long are these batteries good when they're sitting around not being used? If you purchase 5 and one lasts you a year you're not ready to use the last one till 4 years later. Is it still good? If it is then the Batterybob.com deal is pretty good.

Default expire date

These are good till 2015. The price of the 5 is less then the price for two at a retail store. I replaced both keys batteries at the same time.
