Default Upgrading a non ML stereo system

So many speakers... what should a person change first if they want better sound? Can I easily add an amp and new door components?

For anyone that has changed anything, please tell me what you did and what you think of it!

Easy and car audio do not go together in terms of this car. I recently added an amp and sub to the factory stuff to hold me over until I completely overhaul the entire thing. It sounds alright I guess. The factory components have a hard time keeping up with the sub but I guess that all depends on what kind of sub, box, power your working with. I was however impressed with the amount of stuff that DID NOT rattle like my previous car did.
