I'am asking about SPEED SIGNAL wire to the monitor cut-off , did you done this? Any side effects?
About SRS: Probably, on your old clock assembly you've had "ADULT ONLY\SAFE FOR CHILD" info label, showing the status of the passenger airbag and on new one - you dont. And probably your new J53 connector doesnt have these terminals: 3 (GRAY), 9 (VIOLET). So, just add them, and connect them to the original J54 connector 6 (GRAY), 7 (VIOLET).

Thanks for the help, I will take a look tomorrow and take pics of my wiring behind the dash.

I dont add the terminals yet (cause I first need to stretch wire to the trunk) but I am 100% sure, that it is possible. Yes, I've got the amp with system too, but it is 100% the same (partnumber) as my original non-nav amp.
I've also add 2 pin to Q2 connector, but thanks for info, where did you get that Q2-5 is reverse signal?

Lohus, what does PBEW on the J54 and J53, right now im connecting that PA-On and P-AB, you were right my wiring diagram left these disconnected. I'll let you all know how it turns out, and im taking pics to post for the other brave and mighty people here.
What is the best access point for Q2?

PBEW is going to combination meter, may be some data exchange.
Access point for Q2 is shown in my XLS file. The ECU where this connector is situated can be access after the middle trim (where you have fuel\trunk lid open buttons) is removed.

Installing NAV unit in NON-NAV 09 IS250...
Hey guys,
I've search the forums and couldn't really find anything current by someone who has done this. I have an 09 IS250 without NAV and would be looking to upgrade seeing as how the unit's are going fairly cheap on ebay. I know it'll mount no problem, but just like the 09's come setup for Sirius/XM, illuminated door sills, etc...does it come just prewired to do NAV as well? I know it's a bit different then some goofy door sills but just curious. No ML, just NAV. Thanks so much.

ur best bet is to contact Mat at Automax Service and buy the Fly Audio unit. i have an 09 w/o Navi and put in the fly audio unit. WORKS GREAT...there are a few threads about it on here.
