We'll,
The gen 1's used Denso Iridium and reccomended a change at 60k. Using anything else (bascially anything cheaper, any of those crap 4 head Bosch, hotter plugs, copper plugs etc) will make a negative impact on the car. Trust me, I know this for a fact. I changed my OEM plugs on my gen one because the dealer wanted $600. It was a 3 1/2 hour job by myself, but so worth it (OEM plugs). I waited till 80k, and when the change was done, the car drove so much better. Always stick stock on these very sensitive cars for under the hood components.
