I just got a subwoofer on my 07 is250 and when i put the bass up the trunk rattles. are there any where i can make the rattling sound go away? any suggestions? or experieces with this?? thx

check license plate, usually the 1st thing to rattle, then if you still have a ot of rattles try dynamat, to help insulate the trunk

ya check the plate, if not u can always dynamat (insulate) the trunk like MIA is250 said.
I put a strip of weather stripping behind the plate to stop it from rattling

Haha!!! Sad, but True. Even with the stock amp in the car my trunk rattles when I play it to loud or add too much bass.

Friend had the same problem. Tried to fix it with dynamat, but still would rattle a bit. So my friend just gave up.

the rear view mirror shakes like CRAZY i know theres a TSIB on it but i've seen the tech just GLUE a new mirror on the windshield which is a no no for me

The trunk doesn't rattle that much...it's the gas cap that does most of the rattling. Find some one sided foam tape and put it along the inside of the gas cap and it should minimize the rattling.

Isn't the sub suppose to rattle the trunk? Isn't that the point of adding a aftermarket sub??

This is very true. The gas lid rattles like a mother! I used some moleskin tape and it reduced it a lot.

For the license plate, I added some elemental designs eDead to the back of the plate and around the back of the chrome frame. You can hardly hear it anymore.

Dang, there's already enough rattles in the IS when it's all stock. It must suck to have extra ones coming from the trunk.
