Default floor lights

i noticed (and i like) when im driving at night on the floor of the driver and passenger side a light stays on at the feet. i havent had my is250 08 3 weeks yet. is there anyway i could change that light to make it blue or any other color? could the dealer do this upgrade?

it will cost you big money if you go to the dealer! I am not sure if you can change the lights or not. Iknow they are LEDS.

It's do able but seems like a lot of work. I have seen pictures from the JP sites (forgot the name) but it requires removing the panels and soldering the new lights to replace the previous.

Its not too much work, yet I wouldnt actually call it an upgrade because of the fact that functionality would be out of the picture. Those little LED's are actually pretty bright and come in handy when you drop something. I think that the current setup actually has a bluish/HID type of look to the light and is very cool looking plus it matches the other lights in the car. Any other dark shade of blue would just look kind of odd/aftermarket ricey style compared to the stock lights. Just my .02.

Surely I am....not the dome lights...we're talking about LED's here....the map lights next to the dome lights, the light that shines down on the shifter etc..

The lights actually get brighter when you put the car in park.

I had the dealer turn the Footwell Lighting Off, I like it to be dark inside the car at night.
