Aerotect smoked lights
First off, just wanna say how much I love this forum. I just purchased an IS 350 as my first "grownup" car and you guys have taught me so much...
So a few weeks ago I ended up getting the aerotect smoke overlays for my new baby. I planned on installing them myself until I learned that I can have aerotect do them for $40. So I made the trek and had them install them themselves. It looks great, but... there's a piece of scotch tape holding the overlays down. Isn't this just going to peel off after a couple of months in the sun? Has anyone had a more permanent solution to keep the 2 pieces on?

OP, I had mine for almost a year now with a tape (also installed at Aerotect by Francisco). It's still intact. It not gonna peel off. No solution for now unless you want to use glue which I do not recommend.
