I'll be in China this upcoming week and will be visiting many different cities, Hong Kong included. I was curious what parts are available in Hong Kong and where I can find them. For anyone who has traveled there and purchased parts in Hong Kong for their 2IS, where did you find them? What were the prices like compared to prices here in the US? Finally, are the products authentic or knock-offs?

i think the last guy didn't find much in HK. i just picked up a bunch of small goodies in japan, not 100% of what i was looking for, but definately coveted stuff! so go to japan for a day!

I didnt find much either, all the lil goodies thats all. air freshner, lights, accesories, gl. Go buy clothes and name brand stuff, no tax. Food is cheap and a good massage to relax u. Just dont get cheated, go with a local, my gf speaks so i let her do all the talking, i just held the cash ahahha

I believe u will find alot in japan, all the new stuff, but probally very expensive

Amen to that. Massages are so cheap in asia and I often fall asleep during the 1-2 hour sessions. Not to mention that you can find a lot of places that are open 24 hours.

You can find a lot of places here that are open 24hrs, but they specialize in sessions that are much shorter.

ahahah u guys. well massages are cheap beyond cheap, you can get a nice foot/body massage for as little as 7 bucks an hour US$. tip is not required like the US, they are usually extra nice to Americans cause we are accustomed to tipping. Plus they give you free drinks and some places even a late supper. Boboa ftw!

Don't waste your time trying to buy the Tom's body kit from the TOM'S/TRD shop. They won't let you ship it outside the country. But they do have other TRD related stuff there. Have fun! It shouldn't be to hot there during this time of the year. Was just there in January.

Hong Kong is a great city to travel to.. however, if you're looking for car parts for the IS, can't find much.. Japan is really the best place to go to for parts.. since you're in Hong Kong, be spontaneous and get a ticket to Japan.. Japan is great as well.. around Tokyo..
