Default Is it possible?

I have always liked the front end of the GS, but hated the rear. With the IS i love the rear, but the front doesn't impress me that much. Is it possible to have the front of GS and the rest of the car an IS? don't even know if it is remotely possible. Not saying I would do it if it is possible. What do you guys think?

you'd have to look at the chassis and frame to see how the GS parts would be put on but nonetheless it's a very possible project. of course some molding will be required to flush the new moldings and from that i don't think it'd look very good. the lines of the body panels wouldn't match up and you'd have to compensate by making new panels or do some heavy molding. my opinion is that if for any reason one day you were to undergo such a project, i'd make a custom design that's maybe based off the GS as inspiration.

I always liked the way the GS seperated the headlights with the drl/high beam. It makes it look pretty classy imo.

Easy solution, just get one of each. Park GS going in the garage, backup IS in the garage - now you can see both ends you like and you can ride either one. That's what I did.

I wouldnt think it would be hard. From wha I have heard, the IS and the GS are the same platform, the GS is just streached out a bit.

I too like the front of the gs but dislike the rear. Anything is possible with the right amount of money. if you got the cash you can do it. major retrofitting prob

I loved the taillights and the back of the TL, but the interior of the TSX looked nicer with the wood trim arc across the dash.

Settled for the IS.
