You know all major cities of Pakistan have huge underground racing operations after 10 PM? I can tell you the locations and heat these guys are packing if you want to check it out next time. These are some seriously sick bastards though!
Well guys this makes me feel better that if i race him i will beat him hands down. I just ordered a JoeZ intake with HKS filter. Hopefully i will give me a slight boost on the roads.
For pakistan i visited Peshawar. Right next to Afghanistan LOL. I got a Ninja over there with no plates HAHAHA

This data proves exactly what I said in my original post. That the GT is faster off the line, but the IS350 is faster in the upper end.
Note: I grabbed the BEST SET of numbers for each vehicle going through road tests on Motor Trend. I don't quite know why the IS takes over the GT at the 100mph point, yet loses in the quarter mile. But, it may be due to shift points, drag, power curve, conducted during a different test ???? Either way, here is data for your consideration.
^^ i dont understand.... have you lost against a thousand mustangs in your IS350 and are upset.. the car is just faster.. period.. i could careless what the magazine says.. its all different conditions..
look on dragtimes.. do you see a stock mustang gt that can magange a 13.3.. no. but the IS350 seemed to make that possible
you say the mustang is faster off the line.. well everytime i race my buddies gt.. when we go off the line.. thats when i get the biggest jump... hes a great driver and has tried many different launches... just cant keep up with me at all...

I'm just trying to state facts. Everyone here is taking Cayman's and Gernby's and other's absolutely BEST time ever in a 350 and trying to match it up to a stock GT driven by Joe Smith on the street. People on the board do it all the time when comparing the 350 to a BMW 335. Has Cayman and some others beaten 335's before. YES, therefore it is possible. But, is it typical. I don't think so.
I find it extremely hard to believe that the mustang is "smoked", beaten "hands down", beaten "easily", beaten "every time", etc. Given the numbers, and my personal experience, I just can't believe it. Especially when some of y'all posting have 20" wheels on your car. But, if that's the case, so be it. That's called street racing.
(Also, if we get on the discussion of tires: the mustang has all season Pirelli P-Zero's. But, I'm not going to start making every excuse for why the mustang could lose, because it's not about that.)

Yeah it's pretty funny. When it comes to the 335i eveyone on here claims it's a drivers race But when it comes to the Mustang, it's not a dirvers race, the IS350 is faster

....trying to figure out what you're saying.
BTW, the mustang does do one thing that the IS just can not do: peel your face back and pin you to the seat. It's a rush unlike no other, and whether or not it's actually faster, it's a feeling that the IS can't provide.
Call it suspension characteristics, call it torque, call it whatever you want. It's still a fact.
oh, and that's not including the added feeling of being able to shift manually and have the top dropped.
Like I said in my first post, they're two completely different cars with two completely different purposes.

I get what your trying to say, Mustang Gt are'nt slow if they are highly modded. They can run mid 12 with just N/a bolt on, maybe with some laughing gas. But fact for fact, they are both different car, and daily different driver. But if both car are evenly modd, i have to say it all about traction, which i think the IS- has the upper hand, IS driver doesnt need skill to launch that thing. The GT i race with was modd(I/E) and maybe more, and no he did'nt have 20' on his , neither did i lol . But for me to take off on them about 3 car lenght from the start, and he launches good too, is poorly because of traction, because i could hear him peeling off badly. But if we were to race a GT from a 40+ roll, no doubt the GT will cook us about 2 car lenght, i've race with one on a highway, an older version GT, deffinately were highly modd, and i was bonestock 30% thread tires left lol. This is from my past experience.
no no.. i did this when i had just an axel back.. but i also had a K&N intake.. and apparently with that i was losing hp.. but he has an intake and axel back exhaust on his stang
