right now i got the bumper plugs, but since its the aerotect ones i had to drill it to a bigger hole.
Well WHAT IF i get a fix it ticket for front plates. What should we use to put it on temporarily?
BTW: i got a clear bra so im sure any adhesive wouldnt damage the car...
Velcro? Double stick tape? zip ties?

I keep mine on since the Dealer couldn't take of the bracket that was supposed to hold the license plate off. I just try to ignore it and make a customized license plate frame so it doesn't bother me as much.
It's also the same law here in Hawaii, but a lot of people don't have their front license plates on. The most I hear from here is that people just get marked for the front plates when they get pulled over for something else(ex.Speeding).

fyi, i got pulled 2x for no front license plate... well, 3x! the first time i got pulled over was by pig on a bike in kalihi... he let me go when i dropped my dad's name! the second time i got pulled over was by a rookie on feet in waikiki... i gave him bimbo excuse, oh i don't know how to put it on! he asked, if i had a screw driver... i was like, what is that? he said, nevermind and let me go! the 3rd time, i didn't get away with 1 (no front license plate) + 4(altered suspension, no recon, unsafe lane change and turn signal required) = 5 tickets! i ended up paying $40 for no front license plate and the other tickets got dropped... thanks to dad! lol.

No front plate for me. Minor things like front license plates, "working" brake lights or "current" registration aren't widely enforced here.
BTW Annalyz your sig cracks me up. One of my Hawaiian friend's favorite excuses to his wife is, "I was just showing her the aloha spirit"

Wow! I didn't expect to this thread to go on this long. Anyway, I started this thread thinking maybe I was the only one hating the front license plate, but I am glad to see I am not alone. I don't care if I get pulled over in my IS; I am sooo getting bumper plugs. Thanks for everyone's input thus far! - Erin

Im in Ocean, Toms River to be exact. I drive in Toms River pretty much all the time, along with Pine Beach, Beachwood and South Toms River, never get yanked for the plate, ever.
