Yeah I bought mine and popped the hood while it was running and thought...oh great, theres no oil in there! Checked the fluids and all was normal....then joined the site and found it to be the injectors...all normal.

Yes, I was thinking the same when I bought mine 10 months ago. Just the injectors as foodplz stated.

I haven't really noticed the injector noise, but I'm fairly certain my '08, IS250 engine is louder since my 5k mi service. Not a LOT louder, but definitely noticeable. It's not vacuum or clicking...the normal engine sound is amplified a bit. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Certainly the 5k service doesn't include anything that would cause such a thing.

Not sure why it would be louder. Maybe a dust cover panel is rattling a bit with the RPM? The dealer may have not fastened the clips down good enough. Just a thought. I would check the oil level to make sure.

one thing I've noticed with my 2007 is350 is a "whining" noise that comes from revving the engine. It almost sounds like engine noise feedback - just praying i can remedy this one day or drown it out with an exhaust.
