As long as your IS is a Sport or Lux Pkg equipped with the white harness shown on pics posted on Page 3, then it takes like under a minute for each side...
If its a premium or base, then you will have to tap into the courtsey light wiring / power.

I think that might be right for 06'... not sure if its there by default for 07-08 non-Sports..

*For 2006 model years - Illuminated Door Sill upgrade only applies to IS models equipped with Sport or Luxury Package.
Otherwise they have to be wired in like my IS.
Mine are going in wired next weekend.
