Default Trunk light question

Does the trunk light automatically turn off when you close the trunk? I've been turning the light on and off manually at night, and was hoping I could just leave the light on without discharging the battery.

yes, the light automatically turns off when you close the trunk. just leave the light always on "ON".

if you really wanted to make sure, leave it on and pull down the rear trunk access to check the light.

They should have those access panels on refrigerators too.

You could also check the functionality of the emergency release by closing yourself in the trunk...come on!

If Lexus wanted you to have to turn on the light manually each time you used it they would have put one of those little chains on lit like you see in basements and attics.

Is there a trunk light on 2006 IS350 with sport pkg? If it is where is the switch?
